On the day of the historic moon landing of Apollo 11 on July 21 1969 it became quite clear to NASA astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin that there were other space craft and beings on and around the moon with them. One of the astronauts talked about seeing a light in a crater during the television transmission with a request to mission control about what to do next and that’s when the broadcast blanked out for an almost two minutes. Fortunately, there were private ham radio operators with VHF capabilities that caught the following private transmission between Houston and Apollo 11 according to former NASA employee Otto Binder.
