From April 29 to May 3, 2013, under the late pioneer of UFO researchStephen Bassett(Stephen Bassett)’s organization,the Citizen UFO Disclosure Hearing(Citizen Hearing on Disclosure) was held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. It was the largest public UFO testimony event in the civilian community.
Six former members of the U.S. Congress formed a mock hearing committee and heardmore than 40 witnessesgive testimony, including:
- former Air Force officers and nuclear-missile operators
- retired FAA officials
- former military pilots
- government documents and insiders
The core testimony covered:UFO interference at nuclear facilities, government cover-ups, crash retrievals, and pilot encountersand other topics. Witnesses from Brazil, Russia, the United Kingdom, and other countries also offered an international perspective.
