A Former U.S. Soldier Says He Flew a UFO — Lyn Buchanan and Jesse Michels

The guest on this episode of the American Alchemy podcast is former U.S. Army Sergeant Lyn Buchanan. Buchanan was one of the remote viewers in the U.S. military’s top-secret ”Stargate Project” (Stargate Project). He has extraordinary mental abilities and, during his military service, carried out a great many astonishing tasks, including operating UFOs, remote-viewing foreign leaders, and learning the truth about extraterrestrial bases.

The following is a complete Chinese-language commentary on this interview.

I. Childhood anomalies: the Poltergeist Boy

From childhood, Buchanan displayed anomalous phenomena. From birth he was called the ”Poltergeist Boy”. Strange events happened around him for no apparent reason, such as objects moving on their own and electrical equipment malfunctioning. Most shocking of all, he once unconsciously crashed a military computer system worth $50 million with his mind.

This ability drew the military’s attention. Buchanan did not seek out the military; the military’s paranormal research unit came to him.

II. Recruited by General Stubblebine

Buchanan was recruited personally by U.S. Army Major General Albert Stubblebine. Stubblebine was a legendary figure in U.S. military intelligence. He was convinced that American soldiers could walk through walls by the power of the mind, and he was a key driver of the military’s research into psychic abilities.

Buchanan joined a top-secret U.S. military remote-viewing unit, later widely known as the ”Stargate Project” (Stargate Project). The program tried to use psychic abilities for intelligence collection, including remote viewing (Remote Viewing), in which trained personnel ”see” a target place or person from a great distance.

This experience was later adapted into the classic film The Men Who Stare at Goats (The Men Who Stare at Goats), starring George Clooney.

III. Remote viewing: Saddam Hussein and Gorbachev

One of Buchanan’s best-known operational tasks in the Stargate Project was remote viewing former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. Using remote viewing, he ”located” Saddam’s hiding place from a distance and provided intelligence support for military operations.

He also remote-viewed Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. These tasks show that the military treated psychic ability as a serious intelligence tool, not as an occult stunt.

IV. Operating a UFO—”It Is Not What You Think”

The most startling part of the interview is Buchanan’s detailed account of how he operated a UFO. He personally flew these craft, but he stresses that they were ”not what you think”.

Buchanan points out that some so-called UFOs are in fact products of secret military programs on Earth, advanced classified technology of human origin rather than craft from other planets. At the same time, he confirms that craft of non-human origin do exist. This account lines up with what a growing number of declassified documents in recent years have suggested, that ”UFOs may involve multiple sources”.

One of his most striking disclosures concerns the ”UFO control panel” (The UFO Control Panel), a system interface that can operate these craft. Buchanan claims he used this control panel himself.

V. Extraterrestrial bases on the Moon and on Earth

Buchanan states clearly that there is an extraterrestrial base on the Moon. He presents this not as speculation, but as information he learned while serving in the military. He also says extraterrestrial facilities exist on Earth.

These disclosures line up closely with testimony in recent years from several former military intelligence officers:

• David Grusch (a former National Reconnaissance Office/NRO intelligence official) testified at a 2023 congressional hearing that the U.S. government has a UFO retrieval program
• Lue Elizondo (former head of the Pentagon AATIP program) has said publicly many times that ”we are not alone”
• Several remote viewers have, on different occasions, given consistent descriptions of extraterrestrial presence

VI. Life on Mars

Buchanan’s remote viewing also extended to Mars. He describes an experience of ”walking” on Mars and seeing worm-like life forms on the Martian surface. These observations echo some anomalous images returned by Mars probes.

VII. The Rendlesham Forest incident

Buchanan also mentions the 1980 Rendlesham Forest UFO incident in Britain, one of the country’s best-known UFO contact cases, described as ”Britain’s Roswell”. U.S. Air Force personnel near Woodbridge Air Base in Suffolk saw and approached an unknown craft at close range. Buchanan claims he knows inside information about the event.

VIII. Buchanan’s own extraterrestrial contact

In the latter part of the interview, Buchanan discloses his own extraterrestrial contact experience (Abduction). He describes the details of his contact with extraterrestrial beings, including information related to DNA. The discussion points to a startling finding called ”DNA profiles show other species”.

IX. Remote viewing Jesus and God

The most controversial part of the interview comes at the end. Buchanan claims to have ”seen” Jesus and God through remote viewing. He also makes predictions about the future, extending to 2050, including foreseeing major events such as the Chernobyl nuclear accident.

X. Weather and earthquake weapons

Buchanan also discloses information about weather weapons and earthquake weapons. He suggests that some extreme weather events and earthquakes may be the result of human manipulation, pointing to the agendas of the ”Deep State” (Deep State) and a ”One World Government” (One World Government).
