Former Russian Prime Minister Medvedev on UFOs
On Friday, December 7, 2012, Russian Prime Minister and former president Dmitry Medvedev made a startling statement to reporters while his microphone was still on. Asked whether the sitting president receives secret files on extraterrestrials while in office, Medvedev not only revealed that aliens are visiting Earth, but also said that some of them are living among us in a very real sense”He went even further, saying that the Hollywood comedy Men in Black, which depicts a government agency secretly monitoring aliens on Earth, is based on fact. Although Medvedev’s playful reply seemed aimed at the reporter’s unusual question, it still raises a question: how much of the truth actually came out? He was answering without realizing that his microphone was still recording.
After formally finishing interviews with journalists from five television stations, Prime Minister Medvedev went on taking reporters’ questions and, without realizing the microphone was still live, gave some “informal” replies. His “informal” remarks reflected his real feelings more candidly, especially about the recent political situation in Russia, when civil liberties were being suppressed by the authorities. He was then asked whether, “when the president is handed the briefcase needed to activate Russia’s nuclear arsenal, he also receives secret files about extraterrestrials,” and Medvedev replied:
“(translating Medvedev’s words) ‘Along with a briefcase containing the nuclear codes, the president of the country is given a special “top secret” folder. That entire folder contains information about extraterrestrials who have visited our planet… At the same time, you also receive a top-secret special assignment: an exercise in controlling the extraterrestrials on our country’s territory… You can get more specific information about this from that famous film—Men in Black (Men in Black)—… I will not tell you how many aliens are among us, because that would cause panic.’”
Medvedev is not the first important Russian official to reveal something about extraterrestrial life in a television interview. In an extraordinary television interview broadcast in May 2010, the governor of the Republic of Kalmykia (the Governor of the Russian Republic of Kalmykia) and president of the World Chess Federation, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov ( Kirsan Ilyumzhinov ), claimed that in 1997 he was taken from his duplex apartment onto an alien spacecraft. Ilyumzhinov said he met humanoid aliens who showed him around their ship and even took him to another world.
For a long time, there have been signs that aliens have not only visited our world but actually live among us. A thoroughly documented case in Italy, known as Amicizia (Friendship), indicates that more than 100 people, including senior government officials, met over more than 22 years, from 1956 to 1978, with a group of extraterrestrials based on the Italian peninsula and in the Adriatic. Notably, these extraterrestrials were watched in secret by NATO authorities, although NATO did not interfere with private meetings between citizens and them, or with the provision of needed resources. This case, if genuine, shows that an official agency for monitoring extraterrestrials on Earth—just as depicted in the film Men in Black—really does exist. Prime Minister Medvedev, for his part, seemed to acknowledge the existence of such a “secret special service.”
Although one could say that Medvedev was only answering a reporter’s “strange” question with a joke, the setting of his “informal” remarks suggests that he was being candid about this series of subjects, including extraterrestrial life. When we try to analyze Medvedev’s frank comments, denying the claim is of course the seemingly reasonable position. Yet this raises an interesting possibility: that Medvedev’s answer was carefully planned and approved in advance, in order to reveal to the Russian public a fact the Russian authorities have not yet been able to announce formally to the world—that aliens live among us.
