Night Siege: The Hudson Valley UFO Sightings

📖 Night Siege: The Full Record of the Hudson Valley UFO Case

From the publisher: Unless someone reveals the truth, you can never judge whether “the truth is out there.” Now, when you read Night Siege, coauthored by Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Philip J. Imbrogno, and Bob Pratt, you will find a truth capable of overturning the entire UFO phenomenon.

The late Dr. Hynek was a renowned astronomer. He served as a consultant to the U.S. Air Force Project Blue Book UFO investigation and later made a cameo in the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The research he began was carried forward by the science educator Imbrogno and the journalist Pratt. They found that, in the Hudson Valley north of New York City, thousands of people had seen strange objects in the sky—and sometimes had even come into contact with strange beings.

Seven thousand sighting reports
Witnesses from every walk of life
Reports from strangers corroborate what others saw
A huge object hovering and drifting in the sky, almost in silence
Encounters with beings of gray skin… or of reptilian appearance
Physical evidence that strange events took place

The first edition of Night Siege was widely regarded as a classic of the UFO field for its in-depth reporting. It has now been updated to cover the latest sightings and close encounters. The book includes sixteen photographs, one of them a UFO photograph taken by a law enforcement officer.

To this day, the military, the media, and scientists remain silent about the Hudson Valley phenomenon. If you want to uncover the astonishing UFO secret only minutes from New York City, you must read Night Siege.

From the critics—Publishers Weekly

“The Westchester boomerang” was a UFO reported by hundreds of people in New York State and Connecticut between 1983 and 1986. Most witnesses described it as a hovering, enormous V-shaped array of flashing lights, joined by a dark structure. UFO investigators Imbrogno (author of Crosswalks Across the Universe) and Pratt describe in detail the “close encounters” of about 900 people who filled out “witness forms.” (The noted UFO writer Hynek died in 1986, “while this book was being written,” but the authors maintain that he took part in the investigation, and they include a record of Hynek interviewing a witness.) They noticed a “feeling” common among the witnesses: “They felt that the object, or some intelligence behind it, was trying to communicate with them in some way.” After two years of analysis, the authors conclude: “There is no conventional explanation for the Hudson Valley UFO.” Illustrations (not seen by Publishers Weekly) include photographs, drawings, and successive frames from a video of the lights.
