🔍 Event details
On the evening of October 11, 1973,Charles Hickson(Charles Hickson, age 42) andCalvin Parker(Calvin Parker, age 19) were fishing on the bank of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi when they encountered one of the most famous abduction cases in UFO history.
An elliptical craft giving off a blue light landed nearby. Three beings about 5 feet tall, with gray skin, withered legs, and claw-like ends to their arms, floated out of the craft and took the two menup into the craft by levitation. The two claimed that after a physical examination inside the craft they were returned to the ground about 30 minutes later.
The two immediately reported it to the local sheriff. The sheriffsecretly recorded their conversation in a room by themselves—on the recording the two kept showing real fear and confusion, repeating “they are not things of this world.” The recording became the strongest evidence in the case.
U.S. Air Force investigator J. Allen Hynek looked into it himself and concluded that the two witnesses’ fear was genuine.
