Dr. Jerry Linenger: UFO Sighting from a Space Station
Introduction:During a five-month mission aboard Russia’s Mir space station, Dr. Jerry Linenger repeatedly sighted unidentified flying objects. In 2002, at a retail conference in Dubai, he told reporters that he had seen a metal object in space flying in an orderly way, like a spoon, though the distance was hard to judge. He stressed that no alien had ever knocked at the door, suggesting these phenomena might come from distant space.
Jerry spent five months aboard Russia’s Mir space station, carrying out various tasks, and said that during his short time on the station he had seen real unidentified flying objects more than once. In November 2002, four years after he boarded the station, Jerry said, in front of reporters, at the BurJuman retail conference at the Emirates Towers Hotel:
“I have been asked this question many times. In five months in space, I did see unidentified flying objects.
“Sometimes I looked out the window and could see a metal object flying in an orderly way, like a spoon. The biggest problem in space is that distance is very hard to judge. It might be a spoon, or it might be a spacecraft thousands of miles away.
“Let me tell you one thing: I never heard anyone knock and say—hey, Jerry, let me in!”

“I have been asked that question so many times. In five months in space, I have seen unidentified flying objects for sure.
“Sometimes I looked out of the window and I could see a metallic thing like a spoon flying methodically. The biggest problem in space is that it is very hard to judge distance. It could have been a spoon or a space ship thousands of miles away.
“Let me tell you one thing, I have never heard someone knock at the door and say – Hey Jerry let me in!”

“I have been asked this question many times. In five months in space, I definitely saw unidentified flying objects.
“Sometimes I looked out the window and could see a metal thing flying in an orderly way, like a spoon. The biggest problem in space is that distance is very hard to judge. It might be a spoon, or a spacecraft thousands of miles away.
