Interview with Stephen Bassett on the Global Disclosure Process
Stephen Bassett is an American lobbyist. In 1996 he founded the “Paradigm Research Group” (Paradigm Research Group, abbreviation: PRG) in Washington. The organization’s purpose is to lobby the U.S. government to acknowledge that extraterrestrials exist and to declassify related information, and to end the government’s suppression of the extraterrestrial phenomenon and the truth behind it.
The media have called Bassett the only registered lobbyist in the United States on UFO/extraterrestrial life. He has given more than 1200 radio and television interviews, and PRG’s advocacy has been widely covered by mainstream outlets including CNN, Fox, and The New York Times. He has explained to audiences around the world the meaning of “disclosure/the great reveal” (Disclosure): that national leaders formally confirm that extraterrestrials exist and promote contact with humanity.
He often appears in UFO disclosure documentaries, for example The Day Before Disclosure (The Day Before Disclosure), and “Ancient Aliens” series, and others.
In 2013 the “Paradigm Research Group” (PRG) organized a “Citizen Hearing on UFO Disclosure” at the National Press Club in Washington. Forty witnesses from 10 countries, together with 6 former members of Congress, brought together the most concentrated body of evidence and testimony on record and held an unprecedented citizen hearing on UFO disclosure. Overwhelming testimonial evidence and research findings were presented; a systematic UFO history and research results were reported, and this encouraged U.S. officials to release more UFO files.
